The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of globally shared goals that define international challenges and goals to be solved by 2030. The SDGs were adopted at the United Nations Summit in 2015, and countries around the world are working to achieve them.
Taiyo Holdings adopted the SDGs as one of our basic policies under “Beyond Imagination 2030” Long-Term Management Plan as well, and we have been actively engaging in efforts for sustainability.

Taiyo Holdings group have established a total of 15 floating solar power plants in Japan. The total estimated annual power generation is approximately 26 GWh, which is equivalent to externally purchased electricity consumption of our electronics business and medical and pharmaceuticals business in Japan.
We will continue to support the utilization of renewable energy of clients and the whole society in addition to the Group.
