Our aim is to make the leap to becoming a comprehensive chemical company. Under this aim, we have made a full-scale entry into the pharmaceuticals business. We have done this through two companies: Taiyo Pharma Co., Ltd. (“Taiyo Pharma”), which manufactures and sells prescription drugs, and Taiyo Pharma Tech Co., Ltd. (“Taiyo Pharma Tech”), which manufactures pharmaceuticals on consignment. In the future, we will look to expand our off-patent products business by acquiring even more products. At the same time, we will develop manufacturing business globally starting with Takatsuki Plant as our manufacturing base in Japan.

Taiyo Pharma Tech, which started business as our group company in October 2019, manufactures mainly solid preparations and injectables on consignment. We consider quality to be our top priority.
